Vivek Vahini

India is known for its secular character. After 50 years of independence, several superstitions and orthodox traditions are still rooted in the society. Vivek-Vahini, a platform for development of scientific temper and rational thinking, cultivating national values and training the students for stress management and life skills is instrumental in institute in collaboration with Maharashtra Aandhshradda Nirmulan Samiti. The institute organizes the programmes such as Say No to Crackers, No Dowry Campaign, making of eco-friendly Ganesh Clay Idols, debates on feminist issues, street plays to generate awareness on gender equity, environmental threats, showing and discussing movies and organization of workshop on self- defense techniques. The students are proactively contributing and working as ambassadors in society in this valuable activity.
